A little guidance. More room to work.
Get started
HeyProduct brings product planning, tasks, resources, and agent-assisted work into one desktop workspace.
- Choose the download for your computer. Public packages appear only when a release is available.
- Open HeyProduct and follow the setup steps. Connect your own supported provider account when you want to use an AI agent.
- Create a project or import an existing repository. Talk through an idea, review the plan, and turn the work into tasks.
- Review the resulting changes and evidence before deciding what to keep.
You do not need a HeyProduct account for local use. AI services may require an internet connection and a separate provider account.
Install HeyProduct
The download page lists the supported targets, minimum operating system, publisher, version, and complete package size for each available release.
macOS
Choose Apple menu → About This Mac. If you see Chip, choose Apple Silicon. If you see an Intel processor, choose Intel. Open the downloaded disk image and follow its installation instructions.
Windows
- Download the complete Windows ZIP. The setup application alone is incomplete.
- Choose Extract All and keep every extracted file together.
- Run the setup application from that extracted folder. Leave the
runtime-bundlesfolder beside it until setup finishes.
If files are missing, extract the complete ZIP again. If your system shows a security warning, verify the publisher and contact support rather than bypassing the warning. Linux downloads remain unavailable until qualified.
Connect a provider
Open Settings → AI agents to see supported providers and their readiness. Follow the provider’s sign-in or credential instructions, then check that the agent is ready.
Provider accounts, availability, usage limits, and charges are separate from HeyProduct. A local workspace does not make a provider service offline. Review the provider’s own privacy terms before sharing work with it.
Keep credentials in the dedicated secure setup flow. Never paste passwords, access tokens, or private keys into a task, chat message, or support report.
Software Update
Update when your work is ready.
Software Update is being prepared for a future release. Until it is available in your installed version, use the complete package and instructions on the download page. Read the changelog before updating.
Do not replace application files while tasks or other work are running. Save open edits and close HeyProduct before following an installer’s instructions.
Provider CLI updates have their own controls in AI agents. Updating a provider does not update HeyProduct.
Local data and recovery
Projects, workspace data, and execution stay on your computer. Services you choose to use, including AI providers and manually opened support, have their own network connections.
If an update cannot open your data, stop and read the recovery message. Keep the existing app data and any recovery snapshot intact. Contact support before moving files or restoring a snapshot; a restore can replace newer changes.
Unsent support text is different from project work: it may be lost if feedback fails, closes, or restarts. Copy anything you want to keep before leaving feedback.
Privacy
Settings → Privacy has separate Share usage data and Share crash reports controls. They start On for a new installation; you can turn either Off independently. Saved choices are preserved.
These choices do not submit support reports. Read what stays local and what is shared before choosing a service or sending feedback.
Get help
Report a Problem, Request a Feature, or open My Feedback. Share only what you intend to send. Do not include secrets, private project files, or raw logs.
You can also contact support@reachableai.com. Tell us your app version, operating system, and a short description of what happened.
